Sean Jones at the RTD featured Joye Moore’s path to sweet potato goodness and fame as her company, Joyebells, has gone from five pies a week at the recently closed Dairy Bar in Scott’s Addition to now being featured in 1,100 Food Lion’s across ten states and 600 Sam’s Club locations nationwide.

Much like the explosive success of local ice-cream bar maker Nightingale, Joybelle’s has gone full throttle in a very short time. They are producing 136,000 pies for Food Lion and the Sam’s Club numbers are still a secret.
