Richmond is on a lot of lists when it comes to food and eating, and deservedly so. Our dining scene has made many lists and won many an accolade, but most of those eateries are in more well-known areas of Richmond: Church Hill, Carytown, Scott’s Addition, The Fan, Manchester, etc.

But in many cities, some of the real gems of great best food are found in the area less well-known even to some locals and most tourists; it is the place that real foodies know holds a little slice of heaven hidden from the main drag and away from the “hot spots.” That area in our region is over on Horsepen Road and Broad Street and is home not only to some of the best Asian food and markets, but great stories of succes…
