I’m sorry to report that even with all the news of the week — the Diamond District contract award, the reaction, the police chief holding community “notecard” sessions, and so many other issues — that I will not be publishing this week due to my responsibilities as a board member preparing for this weekend’s RVA Street Art Festival that kicks off today (3-7pm) and continues on Saturday (11am-7pm) and Sunday (11am-6pm).

It has been an insane delight to be the co-founder and part of something so positive and creative over the last decade and to meet and work with so many creative artists and minds and people that want to make the City better through art. I encourage everyone to come down to the old Haxall Power Plant and watch art come to life this weekend as the next generation of Richmond artists recreates our City’s largest and most awesome outdoor art gallery.
